A hickey, also known as hickie or lovebite, is a bruise or bruise-like mark gotten from kissing or sucking the skin especially the neck and arm areas.

Hickeys tend to last for about 5 to 12 days, but would eventually go and they hardly ever leave a scar mark behind.

Some people may find hickies embarrassing. Such people could cover the hickey with articles of clothing such as scarves, sleeves, or turtlenecks. You could also mask hickies with makeup.

1. Ice Compress

8. Rubbing Alcohol
